Dear EPIC Members, Donors and Friends,

One of the highlights of our year is sharing with you an overview of the ways your support is transforming lives. This year’s Annual Meeting will be on July 30, 2016 at the beautifully renovated Old Gallery of Allenspark, CO, located at 14863 Highway 7.

• 9:00 – 9:55 Business meeting to elect new Board Members and approve proposed revisions to By-Laws (Any interested person is invited)
• 9:55 – 10:15 Socialize and enjoy snacks
• 10:15 – 12:30 Highlights of EPIC’s work in 2015-16 and small group discussion of new directions for EPIC
• 12:30 – 1:30 Potluck lunch

Because of the dispersed nature of EPIC’s membership, we know that many of you will not be able to attend the Annual Meeting in Allenspark. If you are a member and not able to come, your proxy is especially important to us so that we can achieve the required quorum for conducting EPIC’s business. Life Members and those joining as 2016-17 Annual Members need to return their proxies to the address at the bottom of this page. We would also like to encourage you to join EPIC as a member if you have not already done so. Please complete an EPIC Membership Form if you are not already a member.

Our invited guest Patricio Jacobo, Coordinator of Agricultural Promoters for La Semilla del Progreso in Honduras, was denied a tourist visa to the United States. The US makes it very difficult for Central Americans to receive a visa even for this type of meeting. It requires extensive documentation of wealth and papers proving you have strong reasons to return home. He is proceeding to obtain more documentation in order to again request a US visa for a future visit with us.
