“Care For Our Common Home” Conference
La Casa para la Culture Maya’s conference on the Pope’s environmental encyclical “Care for Our Common Home” brought together a widely diverse group of persons who would seldom have such an opportunity to discuss their environmental concerns. We had young and old, Maya and Ladino, persons internationally known and villagers from rural Guatemala.
The day-long conference on the Pope’s environmental encyclical on “Care for Our Common Home” provided time for socializing over a great lunch prepared by Maya supporters of La Casa para la Culture Maya.
