The Health Education for Youth (Jóvenes en Desarrollo) program is important not just for the children and youth who benefit from the services, but also for the people who design and implement the activities. In Honduras, completing schooling and having access to high professional training is a challenge. If people have the grit and opportunities to achieve such training, there are still limited options for career paths. This program not only brings education and health prevention to some of the most vulnerable children and youth in Honduras, but it also allows outstanding professionals to achieve their goal of using their training and professional skills to be of service to their community.
