Fundación Agri-Cultura Marcos Orozco – GUATEMALA

Fundación Agri-Cultura Marcos Orozco is a Maya non-profit organization with multi-faceted goals. The foundation was named after famed Guatemalan agronomist Marcos Orozco Miranda, PA. The “Agri” portion of the hyphenated word Agri-Cultura indicates the organization’s dedication to the promotion of sustainable agriculture, while the “Cultural” portion is for its commitment to preserving Maya culture. It is also providing an opportunity for developing leadership among Maya people. Fundación Agri-Cultura Marcos Orozco is generally known by its shorter name – FUNDAMARCOS.
