Thank you so much to everyone who joined the 2024 EPIC assembly! This year, we shared an update on the Tempisque Rice Project.

After four years of trials, The Tempisque Project remains an exciting option to reduce food insecurity during the climate crisis. Planting indigenous upland rice, that is both drought-resistant and hurricane-tolerant, is one current strategy to combat serious food insecurity in Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Mexico.
