The theme for the 2017- 2018 Annual Report is “Promoting Greater Understanding Through Supporting Local Initiatives”
EPIC supports the initiatives of local partners. It is exciting when that takes us in directions we did not anticipate! This past year that led to an even greater expansion of sustainable agriculture work; to greater involvement of new, young leadership; and to an increased focus on youth. EPIC’s ability to respond to unanticipated needs also enabled us to support our long-time partner Mujeres en Accion as they responded to the incredibly destructive El Fuego volcano in Guatemala.
