On March 7th, 29 members of FUNDAMARCOS met in Antigua at the La Casa Para La Cultura Maya. They discussed  program reports, planning, and how to avoid the pitfalls of the Guatemalan tax system.

The team left Baja Verapaz at 3 a.m. arriving in time for breakfast and bringing a sampling of the bounty of their harvest of organic vegetables. The women ate lunch under a magnolia tree and enjoyed being served – an unusual treat!

WHAT IS FUNDAMARCOS?

Fundación Agri-Cultura Marcos Orozco is a Maya non-profit organization with multi-faceted goals. The foundation was named after famed Guatemalan agronomist Marcos Orozco Miranda, PA.
